I thought this was pretty funny, and you know me I always like taking fun random quizzes! On this one, I thought it would only be like 8 or something like that because I could never imagine fighting children!! But, NO, low and behold me score...! Wow, I guess I know now that if I ever did get in a fight with 5 yr olds I could take on quite a few!

First Foods
Delia has had her first foods. Rice cereal and bananas. We tried bananas first and she seemed to like them she did really good. Then we mixed the bananas with her "mush" and she ate the whole thing! She seems to eat better when we have her mimic our eating motions. I never thought I would make such a fool of myself trying to get her to eat, but it was fun! What a good girl. We are so proud of her!

Classic Music...My Music!!
The music featured on my blog is music that I grew up with and brings back so many childhood memories. It was the music that my parents listed too, hence my liking to it. My friend Tracy has many similar songs on her blog, we have similar tastes in music. She admits that it is "outdated", but Tracy, the truth is they are classics and classics should never be catagorized as outdated. They are just a softer type of music. As my husband describes it, "elevator music" or "Gina music", but I am not ashamed!;) I keep trying to tell myself that I shouldn't like this music, that my generation doesn't listen to this kind of music, but I can't, it is somehow apart of me and what makes me, ME, and there is no denying it! So giggle all you want...I'm keeping my music! I hope you guys don't mind it playing!

My Color
Ok, so like all tests I take, I tend to take them twice. As did I with this one and as you can guess, it was the same!! If this really is me, I am truly honored.
You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color!

Christmas in Napa Valley, CA
We spent Christmas in Christian's home town, Napa Valley. It was so much fun!! I love visiting with his family. We took a tour of the Valley, went to the Jelly Belly Factory and went christmas Caroling on Christmas Eve, an Anderson Family Tradition. I have a lot of pictures, so be sure to look at them all, and Happy New Year!

Beautiful Napa Valley, The Grandview. You can't really see it very well. But the valley does consist of Vineyards, promise! ;)

My New Hair
Ok, so I have probably done a dozen new things to my hair this year! Here is my hair story. I usually get a bleach weave done on my hair since I was 17 years old. So I really don't know what my natural hair color is anymore, especially since I've been pregnant. In may I had my hair weaved again before I moved to Colorado. Once I got here, I had it done again by a new friend in my ward that does hair. Since my hair does have natutal curl in it, I get it permed to enhance my curls, so she did that for me. Then after a while, after I had my baby, My hair was getting long and was still just driving me nuts!! It was growing so fast that it was hard to keep it up. So I decided to have Marylyn bleach it ALL completely and cut it. I was not expecting her to cut it so short, but it grew on me. After 1 day I looked in the mirror and it was almost orange!! Because it was my pregnancy hair still it had a different reaction to the chemicals. So she got me in that afternoon to tone it down some. It looked so much better. But of course my roots grew out again and it was such a drastic difference my natural hair looked black. Soooo, my new friends "encouraged" me :D, to dye it back to my natural hair color with some blonde highlights. It sounded exciting and we all wanted to do it ourselves. I did however try calling my stylist, marylyn for advice before proceeding, but she was out of town. I was so eager to do it that I went ahead and dyed it myself anyway. I chose an ash blonde, well needless to say I got all ASH and NO Blonde!!!! It was so gray. Other people didn't think it looked bad, but trust me it was! So I made an appointment with marylyn to fix it. She had to keeo going darker because they gray wasn't covering. Finally she was able to get rid of the gray, but it was a dark chocolate brown, with some red tones. I went in a week later to get it highlighted and the color, like it was supposed to, had lightened. My friend Jessica was going to be out of town and wanted to see it, so she told me to post it on my blog so she could see, Well, Jess, here ya go. And I do have to say I LOVE IT!! She straightened it just for fun! It has been 5 years since I last had it straight. But I think I like my curly hair and it is a good thing, because it is so much easier. So how do I look?
